"My handcrafted tassels were borne from necessity. We all have our own unique style, and I needed a tassel that didn’t exist in the mass produced market, so my journey began".

"As part of my years travelling around Australia promoting my passion and meeting other enthusiastic men and women of the artisan realm, I’ve discovered that the heart of South Australia is Hahndorf and here my dream has become a reality".

Tassel History A tassel symbolised rank, status, and luxury. For centuries both military and religious sects have used these embellishments and now we can all enjoy the look of opulence.

Passementerie The art of making elaborate trimmings using all applied braids, beads and fringing. Georgia's personal twist is incorporating hand painted tops of turned wood and ceramic, as well as themed tops eg dolphins, fairies, cherubs, bears and so on.
