Belair National Park

Belair National Park, just 13 km from the Adelaide City centre on the southern side of the Mount Lofty Ranges at Blackwood is perhaps South Australia's most popular national park. There are walking trails, BBQ facilities and shelter sheds as well as tennis courts and recreational facilities.

Belair National Park started life as a Government experimental farm and many of the trees and plants remain. The park was dedicated in 1891, making it the first national park in South Australia. The historical and recreational aspect of the park and the many walking trails and its proximity to Adelaide makes it a firm favoutie with locals and visitors alike.
