Welcome to

Two Wells

Two Wells is a town approximately 40 km north of Adelaide on the Adelaide Plains with a population of around 750. The town takes its name from the two aboriginal wells used by the first settlers in the area.

Two Wells was an important stopover on the road north of Adelaide in days past. With the upgrade of Highway 1, the town is now accessed by a bypass road.

The township has retained many of its original historical buildings and cottages with some dating from as early as the 1860’s.

New houses are being built as part of the new development and many residents commute to Adelaide for work.

There is a park to stop and stretch your legs and a choice of several places to have lunch.
