Welcome to

Farina (ruins)

Farina, now historic settler ruins, was built on the site of Government Gums, a stock watering camp with dam.

Farina (meaning flour) was surveyed in 1878 with high hopes of bumper wheat crops. No wheat was ever railed south.

Today all that remains are the ruined buildings which are being preserved.

There are campsites on the riverbed nearby.
